Does the way you're spending your time, energy, and attention reflect that life? Or are you building toward a future that keeps receding while the present slips by unnoticed?
2. Am I using my gifts in ways that still feel meaningful?
You're good at what you do, perhaps exceptional. But does it still matter to you? Are you applying your strengths to work that feels worthy of them? Or have you become so proficient at something that you've stopped questioning whether it's still the right use of your one precious life?
3. Do my goals reflect what matters most now or what mattered then?
We carry goals forward out of momentum, not intention. Ambitions we set years ago when we were different people, solving different problems, proving different things. Some goals were never ours to begin with, they were inherited, absorbed, adopted from cultures or expectations we didn't choose. The question isn't whether you can achieve them. It's whether they still deserve your devotion.
